The Municipality of Subic successfully conducted the 1st and 2nd sets of Family Development Sessions (FDS) for 4Ps beneficiaries from various barangays, including Calapandayan, Ilwas, and Sto. Tomas, San Isidro, Wawandue, and Asinan Proper. The sessions brought together families from different communities to participate in meaningful discussions focused on strengthening family relationships, promoting responsible parenthood, and encouraging active community involvement.
Guided by the theme, families are like branches on a tree. We grow in different directions, yet our roots remain as one.” The activity highlighted the importance of unity despite differences. Participants were reminded that strong family foundations are essential in facing life’s challenges and achieving long-term stability. The sessions also provided valuable insights into health, education, and financial awareness to help improve the overall well-being of each household.
The successful implementation of the program reflects the continued commitment of the local government in empowering families and building stronger communities. The organizers extend their heartfelt gratitude to Hon. Mayor Jon Khonghun and Dr. Pamela Reyes Gatdula for their unwavering support and dedication to programs that uplift families and communities. Truly, as the advocacy states, “Pamilyang Planado, Always Panalo.”
